Nothing is more important to us than being able to make sure you have a

safe and enjoyable holiday. To do this, we are following all government

required policies and have introduced a

number of measures to ensure the

safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew while travelling.

All cleaning staff are trained on proper use of cleaning (and

disinfecting, if applicable) products.

All staff are tested and if showing any symptoms will not be allowed to

board the boat. You can be assured therefore that all staff will be in full

health.

Similarly, all guests will be tested and if showing any symptoms

willnot be allowed to board the boat.

4.

Guest cabins will be cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis.

5.

In common use spaces, surfaces are treated with hospital-grade

disinfectants and cleaning regularly.

6.

You'll see hand sanitizing stations near the entrances and meeting

spaces.

1.WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE IN LUXOR BEFORE THE CRUISE.

Luxor itself is the starting point of the Cruise. Depending on which itinerary

you choose, it is possible to see the magnificent sights of Luxor as part of your

cruise with us. Please see our 5 nights/6 days Luxor to Aswan Itinerary. Of

course if you choose to stay in a Hotel we can pick you up and transfer you to

the Dahabiya on the day of your choosing. It is also possible for us to arrange

your transfer from Hurghada Airport or Hotel. Please contact us and we can

advise you based on your individual circumstances and your personal

requirements.

2.AFTER MY CRUISE HOW DO I GET BACK TO MY HOTEL OR

AIRPORT?

Depending on your Cruise Itinerary we will arrange your transfer back to the

destination of your choice, whether that be a Hotel or Airport. If it is within

​

distance we will provide the transfer complimentary basis. If the transfer is out

of the area there will be an additional charge. All transfers and charges can be

advised to you before the journey based on your individual travel arrangements.

As the Dahabiya is a 4 cabin boat we recommend its use for private charters for

use by the same group. However, it may be possible to share the boat with

another group but we would need to add your name to a waiting list along with

others looking to share the boat on the dates you requested.

We pride ourselves on putting the customer first and so are fully flexible

with start and end times of our cruises to fit with your requirements. So

its your choice as to which day you require the cruise to start and finish. It

is usual however to have an early morning pick up time on the morning of

the cruise so as to see as many sights as possible.

The cruise includes fully serviced Dahabiya Nile Cruise Sailing boat.

Full crew, professional on board chef and daily housekeeping service of

the cabins.

Full board basis – Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Soft/Hot drinks

Transfers within Luxor to the Dahabiya only.

( Transfers can be arranged from other destinations in Egypt – Hurghada /

Cairo for example but will be with an extra charge- please contact us with

An Egyptologist Guide will be available during the sightseeing expeditions to

explain the most interesting facts about the magnificent temples and tombs.(Extra Cost-Guests cover the tour Guide cost).

Our beautifully appointed cabins are each equipped with 2 single beds or a

king size bed. We recommend due to comfort that no more than 2 people

share a cabin. It would be possible to fit a small cot for a baby or a small

child. An older child that could not stay in their own bedroom would require

to share a bed. Please contact us with your sleeping requirements and we

would be able to organise the sleeping quarters to accommodate your

individual requirements.

The Dahabiya costs as per request per day/night/per group and can sleep up to 10 people.

This includes full board ( breakfast/lunch/dinner also soft & Hot drinks)

We recommend a minimum of4 nights to be able to visit the magnificent

sights between Luxor & Aswan.

The Dahabiya is hired on a daily basis at a fixed rate for the number of

days you require. With 4 cabins it can sleep up to 8 people and a further 2

can sleep in the saloon area which can be transformed into a sleeping space.

Please contact us for further questions on how you can arrange your sleeping

quarters to fit your group.

The easiest way to pay is through Wire transfer. We accept local and

international wire transfer. We also accept all major debit and credit

cards. If you need to pay via bank transfer please contact us. We can also

accept cash payment upon arrival at the Dahabiya.

We require a 10% deposit upon confirming your cruise booking details with

us, this will secure your dates and the Dahabiya for your group. You can

cancel your booking up to 30 days before your travel dates for a full refund

of the deposit.

We request that you provide us with your full travel and arrival details,

airline tickets, hotel booking confirmations, 30 days before your Dahabiya

cruise date. ( please contact us if you are still to finalise your travel

arrangements 30 days before)

This is in order for us to make plans for any transfers you may require from

the Airport /Hotel to the Dahabiya and to communicate with you how we can

best assist you upon your arrival to Egypt.

The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival on the Dahabiya.

We require a 10% deposit upon confirming your cruise booking details with us,

this will secure your dates and the Dahabiya for your group. You can cancel

your booking up to 30 days before your travel dates for a full refund of the

deposit.

As we have our own on board professional chef it is of course possible to tailor

the menu to your individual dietary requirements. All meals are prepared on

board and fresh local produce is delivered to the boat on a daily basis. We

would request that you provide us with full details of any special dietary

requirements at least 14 days before the start of the cruise in order for Chef to

make all the necessary arrangements.

The cruise can be taken over any number of days that you wish.

However, we would recommend a minimum of 3 nights to fully

appreciate the sightseeing between Luxor & Aswan.

Yes, there is WIFI available throughout throughout the boat. However,

due to some of the locations being remote, the signal can not always be

100% guaranteed – please bear this in mind if it would be required for

work purposes.

es, each cabin has its own air conditioning unit and also there is an air

conditioning unit in the saloon area.

Our experienced crew and knowledgeable Captain know the safest and most

beautiful spots along the Nile which are suitable for swimmimg. It is of course a

fabulous way to cool down after a magnificent day of sightseeing. You very

much can look forward to a refreshing dip in the Nile.

Alcohol is not available for sale on the Dahabiya. However, it is possible

to bring your own alcohol on board from the Duty Free.

Children of all ages are welcome on the cruise. Please contact us with the

ages of the children planning to sail with you and we can offer you the best

advice as to how to maximist the enjoyment of your trip.

It is of course up to you how much you would like to tip the crew and it is

always very much appreciated.
